Is the free plan actually free?+
Yes — one vehicle, full logging, documents and reminders, free forever. No card required and no trial countdown. You only pay if you want more than one active vehicle or the Garage features.
Can I export my data?+
Always, on any plan. Your records belong to you. The Garage plan adds formatted sales reports built from your data, but raw export is never paywalled.
Does it work in my country?+
Yes. My Garage Journal works with any vehicle, any currency, and metric or imperial units. It doesn't depend on any one country's registration or inspection system.
What happens to the record if I sell the car?+
It goes with the car. When you sell, you hand the buyer a claim code — they add the car to their own garage (free for their first car) and the full history carries over, ready to keep building. Your own copy is archived read-only and free, so it no longer counts toward your plan. You can also generate a sales report — a polished PDF of the complete history — to share with a buyer before the handover.
